Entries Now Open – Apply Early to Secure Your Club’s Place
We are delighted to announce that entries for the 43rd Kent County Minis Rugby Festival, taking place on 29th March 2026, are now open. This year, we continue our commitment to increasing opportunities for Mini Players throughout Kent by inviting clubs to select their preferred venue and apply as soon as possible.
Following an overwhelming response to our invitation for clubs to host the festival, we are thrilled to confirm ten hosts. We deeply appreciate every club that took the time to apply. If your club was not selected to host this season, please do not be discouraged – your enthusiasm is invaluable and we encourage you to apply again for future festivals or other county events.
| Aylesford Bulls RFC | U7 | Ashford RFC |
| Lordswood RFC | U8 | Folkestone RFC |
| Parkhouse RFC | U9 | Tonbridge Juddians RFC |
| Gravesend RFC | U10 | Beckenham RFC |
| Medway RFC | U11 | Sittingbourne RFC |
Clubs are invited to select which venue(s) to enter teams at for each age group. If your club wishes to enter multiple teams in the same age group, you may choose to split them across different venues.
Three clubs will host girls-only pools as listed below:
| U9 | Tonbridge Juddians RFC |
| U10 | Gravesend RFC |
| U11 | Medway RFC |
We are continuing the opportunity to form Barbar teams by combining players from different clubs at any age group. We may also welcome touring clubs and may reach out for support in completing teams to ensure all visitors enjoy a warm Kent rugby welcome.
To complete your entry, please have ready the contact details for either the head coach or manager of each age group entered. Please provide two distinct contacts per club – duplicated details cannot be accepted, as our hosts require alternative contacts.
All entries will be confirmed promptly via email from the Mini contact’s address. Please watch for this confirmation and respond as soon as possible to secure your place.
The deadline for clubs to enter the Kent Minis Festival is 18th January 2026, so please ensure your entry is submitted by this date to avoid disappointment.
When submitting team names, please do not use alpha or numerical identifiers (e.g., 1, 2, 3, a, b, c). In response to feedback from club officials, we are asking each team to provide a suitable ‘person in the middle’ to referee half of each match, unless your host supplies alternative referees. This change aims to ease pressure on volunteers and ensure a smooth experience for all.
As always, our festival celebrates Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship. While we hope many of our Minis will one day represent Kent in the Six Nations, our focus remains on ensuring every child enjoys a memorable rugby day with friends and family.
Thank you for your ongoing dedication and effort in supporting Mini Rugby across Kent. The festival would not be possible without your commitment. We look forward to seeing you, your players, managers, coaches, and supporters at the 2026 Kent County Minis Rugby Festival!
