Sandra Soler-Gomez from Dartfordians RFC and coach of the Kent Girls’ County Squad has been chosen to have a unique coach development opportunity many of us would be envious of. Courtesy of Mitsubishi, it is truly a “Money Can’t Buy” coach development experience. Sandra has been nominated from Area 3 for her work coaching at Dartfordians and is one of twelve coaches to receive personal coaching feedback and development from Eddie Jones.
On the evening of the 26th July, Sandra will begin her unique experience with a meal and accommodation at the Lensbury club in Teddington, discussing coaching issues.
On the morning of 27th July, she will have a working breakfast along with the group with Eddie in a private dining room, and she will have the opportunity to ask him questions on his coaching philosophy.
After breakfast she will travel to London Irish training ground to work with some players – where she will coach a small group of players, with Eddie supporting.
Sandra is delighted to have been nominated for this opportunity, and says ‘ like all coaches we support our clubs as we love the game and are passionate about its growth. “I am lucky to have been with Dartfordians RFC for several years, starting with the U9’s boys and now supporting the U15’s boys, U13’s, U15’s and U18’s girls which takes up a lot of my time but so worth it.”
Sandra has also taken up the role of County U15 Girl’s coach for 2017-2018.
