Please note this is Kent County U17 representative team not the DPP, however Saracens DPP coaches will be in attendance for possible selection to the Saracens Player Development Group. All players MUST attend the first trial day to progress any further in the selection process.
The nomination process is open to all players but is limited to 4 players from any single club or school. Please consider that this is a representative program and only nominate players you honestly believe have a chance for selection to represent Kent U17.
All players must be re-nominated in order to be included in trials irrespective of whether they have been previously involved with the Saracens Kent development program.
The under-17 program is a representative program and selection will be tough given the limited opportunity for training sessions in a busy playing calendar. Players should only be nominated if they can attend the trial dates and match days detailed below. Unfortunately, because of timescales and player numbers, we cannot consider players that cannot trial on the dates detailed.
Assessment day 1 on the 15th Feb 2024 at Dartford Valley RFC
Assessment day 2 on the 3rd of April 2024 at Aylesford RFC
Selection Trial Matches 17th April at Aylesford RFC
Each of these days is a selection session and players will be selected/released after each session to form a training/playing squad for the dates below
Training 5th May 2024 at Aylesford RFC
Match 1 12th May 2024 venue TBC
Match 2 19th May 2024 venue TBC
Match 3 26th May 2024 venue TBC
