Role Title: KCRFU Leadership Academy Administrator

 

Role Purpose: To administer the County Leadership Academy programs, to ensure candidates are recruited and developed, attaining their full potential.

Reporting Line: Chairman-­‐ Club development

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • To administer delivery of the County Leadership Academy in accordance with the vision and plan
  • To organise programmes for potential candidates in coordination with the RFU
  • To help identify potential mentors and organise their continued development
  • Responsible for keeping adequate records of alumni and students and make these available to the CB succession manager
  • To liaise with clubs on an ongoing basis to ensure candidates are forthcoming for each round of the academy
  • To manage the LA budget appropriately
  • To act as an ambassador for the scheme
  • To carry out mentoring responsibilities (optional)
  • To develop and manage a pathway from the Academy to the Club, CB or referee society by annual review with each candidate

Expected time commitment: Approximately 4 – 6 hours a week (seasonal)
