The Kent County Rugby Football Union (KCRFU) is looking to appoint a part-time administrator to support the Chair of Women’s & Girls’ rugby, to drive participation and progress the new Under 12 age band, which is being rolled out across England through various events, such as training days, festivals, pitch up & plays, etc. The aim of this initiative is to provide more regular rugby and great showcase experiences for U12/Year 7 girls, coaches and parents, and to strengthen the transition to the new single age band by retaining and attracting more players.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual to take on this role, who has the ambition to help contribute to create a new workforce of high quality leaders for the future of the Women’s & Girls’ game, post-RWC2025. Ideally, therefore, we are looking for a minimum commitment at least to 2025, to provide continuity in our approach to the transition into U12 Girls’ rugby.
Albeit that the role is part-time, there will be no set hours; activities will be very much demand-led, especially in the run-up to major events, such as festivals. We therefore require somebody who is sufficiently flexible to meet all peaks & troughs in workload. Typically, however, we would expect the administrator to devote to the role c.40 hours across the season.
