Role Overview:

As the Head of Rugby Development, you will work underneath the Head of Rugby with a responsibility for crafting and implementing a comprehensive rugby development programme across the lower school. Your vision and expertise will be pivotal in fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship within our rugby community. Working closely with students, coaches, and the wider school community, you will play a key role in creating an environment where passion for rugby is ignited, and talent is nurtured.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the overall growth and success of the rugby program.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to coaches, ensuring consistent and high-quality coaching standards.
  • Identify and nurture talent through skill development programs and personalised coaching.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and external stakeholders to promote the rugby program and its values.
  • Oversee the organisation of inter-school competitions, ensuring a positive and competitive experience for all participants.
