Head and Assistant Head of Men’s rugby

New Ash Green RFC is looking to recruit a Head of Men’s rugby for the 2023/2024 season and beyond.

Typically the role will include:

• Running coaching sessions for the 1st and 2nd XV men’s team on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.15 pm to 9 pm
• Attendance on Saturday match days from around 12 pm – 5 pm
• Liaise between the Men’s coach, Junior coaches, and club chairs to ensure smooth running and integration of systems the club are implementing
• To build on our current league status and to enhance the player base by increasing numbers at training.

The benefits package may include expenses, CPD, courses paid for, and opportunities to develop within the club and the county and will be discussed at the interview stage with the Club Chairman and Treasurer.

Initially, formal qualifications are unnecessary, but a willingness to learn, improve and create a warm friendly developmental environment is key. The coach should be working towards formal qualifications and be able to obtain an enhanced DBS check.

This position is suitable for an experienced coach, a new coach or a player/coach.
