Our preferred option is for the appointment to be for a minimum 3- year period, to be reviewed annually. This will provide continuity for the Club, and security for the appointed coach.

At senior level, we are a long-established Club, with the 1st XV currently playing in the Kent Counties league. Our 2nd XV is in the Kent Rural 3 league. The senior sides have come through a recent period of success both on and off the field, with a fantastic positivity around the club. Both teams have developed a good style of positive play over the past two seasons getting stronger as the most recent season progressed, finishing upper mid table in their respective leagues. 

We have a flourishing youth section that now fields sides from U14s down to U6s, and the transition of youths through to seniors. We foresee the successful candidate to work with the Youth DOR to install the same vision for both youth and senior players. 

A key objective will be to improve the club’s 1st XV league standing to the highest sustainable position, but equally important will be the aim of leading and developing both the Club’s senior teams and maintaining a resilient two-team structure. 

Applicants would ideally be a minimum RFU Level 2 coach, but preferably Level 3. However, experience, ambition and particularly enthusiasm will be considered.
