RFU Coaching CPD Courses 

For Clubs wishing to host additional CPDs – please click here Please note the process for Clubs booking additional CPD’s, includes a minimum of 6 weeks ‘lead in’ time.

As a reminder, the initial criteria for Clubs  to be able to host CPD’s is that they must:

  • Be an RFU Accredited Club
  • Have updated their GMS (Game Management System) information specific to the number of Teams within the Club; the number of players within each Team and the number of coaches within each Team
  • Be suitable in terms of space (i.e – the venue is free from additional activities taking place at the same time, within the same area)
  • Have adequate indoor space to model practical elements if required, and allow for small group breakout work

Referee Courses

Want to become a rugby referee or interested in understanding more about the game?  Why not book yourself on a referee course.

The Old Mutual Wealth Kids First Refereeing Children course has been designed specifically for those who wish to start their refereeing the Under 7’s to Under 13’s.  This course will provide you with a solid basis on which you can continue to build and improve your skills as a referee.

The England Rugby Refereeing Award Course is for developing referees wanting to referee the 15-a-side game and will equip candidates with the skills and confidence to do so effectively. It is delivered using a mixture of practical and classroom based activities.
