The Introduction to refereeing course has been designed specifically for those who wish to start their refereeing the Under 7’s to Under 13’s. This course will provide you with a solid basis on which you can continue to build and improve your skills as a referee.
The England Rugby Refereeing Award Course is for developing referees wanting to referee the 15-a-side game and will equip candidates with the skills and confidence to do so effectively. It is delivered using a mixture of practical and classroom based activities.
Courses will commence with a series of monthly webinars, with tasks for the participants to work on with their players, digital resources to support them and an online community of practice where they can get support directly from the Match Official and Coach Developersfollowed by 2 face to face days to complete their course.
