March 23rd 2025 brings the 42nd Kent County Mini Festival. This season we have invited clubs to apply to host the festival. We have been lucky enough to have more applications than we required and thank all clubs that took the time to apply. Whether you have been accepted to host or not, we are extremely grateful to you all and hope that for those not hosting this season it will not put you off applying in future seasons or putting your club forward for other events.

We have 8 confirmed hosts and therefore are able to offer players, parents, coaches, managers and their spectators a choice of venues for 3 of our Age Groups.

Our Hosts are:-

U7 – Lordswood RFC and Sevenoaks RFC

U8 – Tonbridge Juddians RFC and Sittingbourne RFC

U9 – Folkestone RFC and Beckenham RFC

U10 – Gravesend RFC

U11 – Aylesford Bulls RFC

Clubs are able to choose which venue to enter teams at and can, if they have more than one team at an age group, enter teams at both venues for one age group if they wish to.

This season we are also introducing the possibility to form Barbar teams with other clubs at any age group. We may also have some touring clubs attending so may reach out to you to ask if you have any players who could complete a team and help make our visitors welcome.

Before completing your entries using the link below you will need the contact details for either the head coach or manager of each age group entered. Please do not use the same details duplicated as our hosts need two possible forms of contact for each club:

All entries will be confirmed asap via the Mini contacts email by Dawn Waters, so please look out for the email and please respond to it as soon as possible. When asked for team names please ensure that no alpha or numerical names are given, ie 1,2,3,a,b,c.

Referees always seem to be in a shortage, so asking for their details on the entrance form caused some club officials added pressure and stress, we are therefore asking that for half of each game a team has a suitable “person in the middle” aka referee is found, unless your host informs you that this is not required. We have taken this suggestion on board from Kent’s Club Officials. I am sure that we will all remember that Mini Rugby is about Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship and that although I am sure many of Kent’s mini players will eventually play in the Six Nations, we are not quite there yet so let’s work together as we always do to ensure our Mini Players get to enjoy the day.

Thank you all for the hard work and effort you give to ensure our counties mini players enjoy rugby, without all of you mini rugby wouldn’t be possible.

We hope to see you, your players and their managers, coaches and supporters at the 2025 KCRFU Mini Festival.
