As the first Young Ambassador to take on this role, Charlie was chosen because he represents everything rugby should be about – courage, inclusion, community and bringing people together.

Through his incredible commitment to Sheppey Rugby Club, Charlie has shown that the challenges he faces are no barrier to his positivity, confidence and enthusiasm.

Charlie has also campaigned at his special education needs school to introduce rugby into the PE curriculum and is always eager to encourage others to get involved in the sport. His message is simple , “There is a place on a rugby pitch for everyone’

He is a fantastic ambassador for rugby and thoroughly deserved this special recognition.
