On the evenings of 10 and 11 June, Kent County RFU hosted two special Awards events, held at Lordswood RFC and Westcombe Park RFC, celebrating the incredible volunteers who form the backbone of rugby in the county. These events provided a wonderful opportunity for the Kent rugby community to come together and recognise those nominated for both the England Rugby and Kent County RFU Awards by fellow club members. Special recognition goes to:

• Steve Carter (Vigo RFC) and Ian Sutton (Kent County RFU), both of whom have been invited to Twickenham to attend the prestigious National RFU Awards.
• Angela Broadhurst (Beccehamian RFC), who was honoured with the Kent County RFU President’s Award, the highest accolade presented on the evening.
