This weekend, Kent’s County Representative Rugby Teams are back in action, and we’re calling on the local rugby community to get behind them. With the U17 Boys aiming to build on an early win, and the Kent Senior Men and Women kicking off their County Championship campaigns, it’s a big weekend for Kent rugby.
Here’s everything you need to know about the fixtures:
Kent Senior Men begin their 2025 County Championship campaign with a home fixture against Hampshire at Charlton Park RFC. As part of Division 1 in the Bill Beaumont Cup, this competition features the top-tier county sides in the country and is a key step on the road to the finals at Twickenham.
This is Kent’s first match of the tournament, and a strong start will be crucial. The squad is made up of standout players from clubs across the county, all coming together to represent Kent with pride. The home crowd’s energy will be vital—let’s fill the stands and give our men the backing they deserve!
Kent Women also begin their 2025 County Championship journey on Sunday, hosting Buckinghamshire at Gravesend RFC. This is their first fixture of the competition, and they’ll be looking to make a strong statement at home.
The Gill Burns Cup is the highest level of representative rugby for women at county level. The Kent squad features a blend of experienced club players and exciting new talent. Your support can help push them over the line!
The Kent U17 Boys travel to Essex this weekend for their second match of the season. After a strong thrilling opening win, the squad is full of confidence and hungry to make it two from two.
These representative age-grade fixtures are a key part of the RFU’s player development pathway, and the Kent U17s are showing real promise. Travelling support would be greatly appreciated as the boys aim to build momentum and continue their unbeaten run.
This weekend is a celebration of rugby talent across Kent – from rising stars in the U17s to the pride of our senior men’s and women’s teams. Your support makes a huge difference. Head down to the matches, bring your clubmates and families, and help us create a fantastic atmosphere.
