On Sunday 17th May 2026 Kent U16Gs will be running an insight day for all girls who are currently in school year 9 and for those in year 10 that have not attended an assessment this season. This will give them a good idea of what the programme entails and allows time for interested girls to have a discussion with their club coaches about their suitability for nomination, and to prepare themselves for the assessment days. Due to the likelihood of large numbers attending, we are splitting the day into two separate 2 hr sessions.
The details are as follows:
Date: Sunday 17th May 2026
Venue: Tonbridge Juddians RFC, The Slade, Tonbridge, TN9 1HR
Time: Session 1 – 10:00 Registration, 10:30 – 12:30 training session.
Time: Session 2 – 13:30 Registration, 14:00 – 16:00 training session.
This day is NOT an assessment but is a chance for players to experience a taste of what the assessment involves. If they are interested in being nominated, they should discuss this with their coaches and can identify specific areas to focus on prior to the assessments in July 2026.
