The nomination window is now open for the Kent County under 17 program for this season for players born between Sept 2005 to Aug 2006.
The nomination window will be open from the 1st – 29th of January 2023, nominations after this date will not be considered
The nomination process is open to all players who have previously been involved in the Saracens Kent development pathway as well as an opportunity to nominate one additional player per club who has previously not been included in the development pathway.
All players must be re-nominated in order to be included in trials.
The under-17 program is a representative program and selection will be tough given the limited opportunity for training sessions in a busy playing calendar. Players should only be nominated if they can attend the trial dates and match days detailed below. Unfortunately, because of timescales and player numbers, we cannot consider players that cannot trial on the dates detailed.
Assessment day 1 on the 15th Feb 2023 at Aylesford RFC
Assessment day 2 on the 5th April 2023 at Aylesford RFC
Selection Trial Matches 19th April at Aylesford RFC
Each of these days is a selection session and players will be selected/released after each session to form a training/playing squad for the dates below
Training 7th May at Sutton Valance School
Match 1 14th May venue TBC
Match 2 21st May venue TBC
Match 3 28th May venue TBC
