Saturday saw the formation of Kent’s newest team, as 36 players from 18 clubs came together for the first training session and trial game for the newly formed Kent SuperVets Cantiaci Over 50s.

Despite a few sore bodies the following day, the session was thoroughly enjoyable and a fantastic start for the new side.

The team is looking in great shape ahead of its upcoming games against Hertfordshire and Sussex.

A big thank you to Medway RFC for hosting the session, and to LooseHeadz and Ebro Foods for their support and sponsorship of the team.

With 36 players representing 18 different clubs, the first session was a great demonstration of the enthusiasm for Over 50s representative rugby in Kent and an exciting start for the Kent SuperVets Cantiaci.
