Kent County RFU is pleased  to recognise and commend Snowdown Colliery RFC  XV for demonstrating excellent rugby values during their fixture against Ashford RFC 2nd XV last Saturday.

With Snowdown Colliery arriving with the bare minimum number of players and Ashford having only eight available, Snowdown Colliery showed outstanding sportsmanship by loaning players so that a 10-a-side match could take place, allowing 20 players to enjoy a game of rugby.

This action reflects the core values of the game. The Snowdown Colliery players were a credit to their club before, during and after the match, and their conduct deserves recognition.
