Kent County U16 Competition

2019-20 Season

This competition is designed to offer a series of formal matches to players of all ability across the County of Kent. It will consist of a series of round-robin matches followed by a ranked, cup-style competition. There will be no knock-out; all teams will be involved right up to finals day with a maximum 8 matches.

The emphasis of this competition is on participation, perseverance across the season, skills development and demonstration of the core values  of Rugby Union.

The competition will be run in accordance with RFU Regulation 15 and any relevant appendix and code of practice. This includes the “Half Game Rule” in which all members of the match day squad will be offered at least a half game playing time.

The date of each “round” is shown in the Youth Calendar (download here).
These dates are not negotiable due to a need to stay within the Club windows of the structured season.
