Dartfordians lady’s team are thrilled to be part of the Twickenham Take Over Day on Monday 1st May 202
They have been invited along with three other women’s teams from other parts of the country to play in a festival at the rugby union HQ.
They are scheduled to play the following matches:
12:00 pm KO Dartfordians Women vs Crediton Ladies
13:15 pm KO Southport Ladies vs Dartfordians Women
15:20 pm KO Dartfordian Women vs Cambridge Women
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and it would be great to raise awareness and encouragement for women in the game as it is growing and developing. Therefore we encourage all to support them on this epic journey.
Entrance is free to all supporters, there will be concessions available for food and drink.
Dartfordians as a club has been around since 1924 and they cannot wait to celebrate their 100yr anniversary next year. The club has a successful Minis/Junior/Colts/Academy section along with six senior men’s sides.
The Dartfordians Women’s Team was formed in 2018 and is going from strength to strength having moved from the Inner Warrior Series league to NC3 League. They have also continued growth in the girl’s section.
They are representing London/South East/Kent in the day’s events and are very much looking forward to getting their boots on the turf.
Grassroots rugby and community rugby help all and they thank the RFU for recognising their club in inviting them to this special event.
