SENIOR MEN’S HEAD COACH WANTED



Greenwich Rugby Club is rebuilding with purpose—and we’re looking for a driven Head Coach to shape our senior men’s team, set standards, and help return the club to competitive league rugby.

The role

  • Run engaging weekly training and drive standards
  • Lead matchday preparation, selection support, and in-game coaching
  • Develop players with clear feedback and simple, effective game plans
  • Build a positive, inclusive culture—competitive, respectful, and fun
  • Work with the Club/Team Captain/Committee on recruitment & long-term growth

What you’ll bring

  • Experience playing and/or coaching senior rugby
  • Confident leadership and clear communication
  • Ability to motivate, develop and retain players of all abilities
  • Team-first mindset and commitment to club values
  • RFU Level 2 or equivalent
  • Desirable: grassroots coaching experience; player development & behaviour management skills
